bulbs wont get you the xennon effect LETS BE HONEST :) il be doing before and after pics when i get my car back so every1 can see the diffrence between stock and custom kit :) should be next week sometime maybe aimez will get it done first tho!

aimez is a 4am scn'er!!!!!

Problem with HID's Rash is they are hard to see in a photo... when you see them in real life (I seen my first aftermarket kit at a Seat meet in 2002!) your like "Wow..."

right no fitting instructions fromt his crap ebay seller for the harness, any help anyone?

yer i noticed that aswell! what a shite ebayer i would of left him negative shite feedback but by the time i got the package the feedback option had EXSPIRED!! so hes a lucky :w4nk:

imo aimez id get the instructions out of the xennon pack and get everything setup then i imagine it will be simple how to fit this harness from there

but then its not on map i wouldnt worry about that! but ive tryed to mock up the circuit and its asif im missing a part of the kit the wireing that connects the origional headlamp connector onto the new xennon wiring  this is going to be a nightmare

aimes can you put a pic up of your xennon kit and all th wiring clearly layed out

ive worked out that the red and black spade clips go in the connector that goes onto the bulb inside the headlamp itself but im still stuck on where the harness interlinks into the xennon kit

aimez mail me your number maybe we can talk through it !

Looking at the pic the harness looks like the designed has no concept of electronics. All the harnesses i have made/used have been fused in the connections from the power from bat and on the connections to the ballasts.

it should also have a H7 connection on the connection into existing headlight.

The negative terminals coming from the ballasts are a bit strange as well, it looks like they are expecting you to connect this to the body work??????

well here is what I make of it.

^^ nice try monk that pic isnt great tho and what you point too as positive battery is a fuse holder. but there should be a red connector comingoff that with a positive connector on the end of it (check my pic below) but this is what i make of it along side my xennon kit

DSC00175.jpg

the two (red/black spade connectors) wires that are near the hid bulbs plug into the *U* shaped connector inside the headlamp that origionally plugs onto standard bulb.

as using this *saftey relay harness* we are runing the power directly from the battery instead of round the whole electrical system you dont need to plug 1 of the connector coming off the hid bulb and just use 1 of them

1 of the black earth points needs to be earthed (very good BODY earth) and the other black point needs to be bolted to the negative on the batery

ifyou get it out and have a hard think it actually becomes VERY SIMPLE and i recon il have this working and all wires hided ect in 20mins :D all i need now is my car!

Please mate call me Phil.

makes sence now, i couldn't see a posative for the bat so i had a stab in the dark.

the pic you have shown look a lot better but i am not happy with the connection into the lights (switch connections)

Could you tell me what relay has been used and what the fuses are?

can seem to find the pics of the one I made for my coupe. I would go to a electrical auto shop and get a H7 bulb connector for the connection into the existing light wire.

and yes it is very simple but people seem to get worried when you mention doing things like this :)

right okay so while I was suffering a hangover yesterday you guys worked it out! seemed like a lost cause before. I'll see what I can do as rash hasn't got his car to try his connections out!

Okay i've connected mine up like you have and the only thing that looks differnt it what i've circled and what you noticed is different? Am I meant to have a red positive connector like yours or did you have ot buy it separatly.

mine came on it :D :D you need to get in touch with the biggest tw4t of an ebayer :lol:you must be annoyed now

Which twat did you guys buy from? I love the look of e but he sounds like a mare to deal with

Martin,

I have just connected up the battery harness, minus the fitting instructions, and notice that there is a red positive connector wire missing coming from the fuse holder. I know this as I saw a pic of another members harness on a Seat forum who bought from you also. Can you send this ASAP along with fitting instruction as advertised please as I have been wanting to fit this for a month now.

Awaitng your reply
