Flaming

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me does there cupra flame naturally?

Saw one of my mates 200sx on the motorway and it was flaming everytime he came of boost.

Would this happen with our cupras?

There are flame kits which you can get(dont think they are "road" legal mind) -

You can get the popping sound but ive only ever seen some flame coming off bill's - (badger 5) but hes running 400+ bhp i believe - he posted a video of it a while back -

Some of the bt guys will get it Id imaging but not on a k03/4 turbo.

Yeah dont really fancy a flamer kit, thats what the chav essex boys put on their 1.0 corsas.

Think he said that it over fuels and the excess explodes in the exhaust.

Looks wicked though

Get your car custom mapped to chuck in a little extra fuel and when it hits the hot exhaust it will flame.

needs to be naturally, not done by pressing a button.

Well my brothers Evo does it but it was mapped into the car to give a little extra fuel, when he lets off full boost it has been known to get a 3ft flame.

bloody hell 3ft, i was thinking more like a flicker, 3ft will look like a bunson burner has been attached

IHI + De-CAT = Flames

Also I've seen a flame trail looking 6ft long out of an ibiza, side shot at 160mph however from behind only looked like a little flicker.

i think its possible on all cars, i use 2 see loads ov muppets doin it in novas n corsas at cruises, they just givv it a gud few reves on n off the accelorater fast n then on of with the engine, rev n pop. then out flies ur over reved un used fuel!!!! great

My car spits big flames but only when changing gears at high revs. I dont know why it does this but it doesn't have a flamer kit. Think the guy before me may have had a custom map.

It will pop when just revving but won't spitflames

Mine pops away nicely on Revo Stage 3, Phil. You've got that to look forward to.

Mine pops really well. But the 'flames' are being stopped by the CAT because when you pop the exhaust you can smell the internals off the CAT being burnt. There's a video of it on Youtube.

But that's just running standard turbo with Powerflow CAT back??
