I need to clear this up once and for all, I stupidly tinted my rear lights, they look crap and are prob illegal so I wanted to get cupra lights as I thought they were dark/black inside instead of my silver FR ones.
People say the FR ones are the same, does this apply to the brand new cupra ones, maybe I was thinking of them? I'm sure I've seen some with darker inside bits? Anyone with a NEW CUPRA can you put up a pic of your rear lights?

Cupra rear lights are all the same new or old; they have clear inserts silver mybe, instead of red ones.

But since the "face" lift the FR has now got these clear/silver inserts.

Found a good one from Rash...

i'm sure i've seen some that have a shiny black plastic surrounding them. they looked pretty smart, i'm guessing you can get em from those freeloading dealers

I phoned SEAT yesterday enquiring about the back lights.

Apparently, they need a chassis number off a Cupra, so they can order me a set of Cupra back lights as they were not on his screen. Asked him about the Black lights and they are only available on the continent aswell.

my cupra lights are the same as all the above, and the guy who lives round the corner from me has the same lights on his red FR..

I know there is a difference between the facelift and pre facelift rear lights but this only applies to the red rear lights. The facelift rear lights have a darker lens. The are slightly tinted. If you put a none facelift Ibiza next to a facelift Ibiza and look at the back lights, you'll see the difference. New ones are slightly tinted. Look better imo.

I've gone backwards, and fitted pre-facelift red lights to my Cupra!

If I was at work tomorrow, I'd check for you, but I'm not so I can't! I'm sure all "lexus" lights are the same.

there is no darker cupra/fr lights!!! there are some dark style lexus 1's on the net been posted up before

i fancy swapping my reverse lens for a foreign fog light so i have an all red rear :)
