Induction elbow

Hi guys, had a k&n 57i air filter fitted to the car today, but the filter sits too far in the middle of the engine bay, can anyone recommend a elbow or silicone piece i could add to make the filter sit nearer the wing plus sizes etc ..

Measure/work out the size you need then have a look on Forge's website. They will have something that'll do the trick.

best to use a 70mm 45deg bend with a 70mm hose joiner to your induction kit.

We dont recommend you run a K&N as the filter contains oil that can kill your MAF,

i know mate, washed the filter without oiling it again so should be ok ..

I'll prob get one of these and buy one of the forge open cones aswell

We dont recommend you run a K&N as the filter contains oil that can kill your MAF,

YOU dont recommend K&N. The filter does not contain oil when dispatched anymore and they are just as good as other filters. Been running mine nearly 10k miles and still on the same maf!

i just bought a new JR filter from jetex hear there good anyway.

not seen the new forge one yet.

agree with the posts lads, i run a k&n and its fine. my 57i kit came with extensions so mine sits near the wing. runs like a dream and i can highly recommend it

oh and yes your right pj i got one of the new 57i kits and they dont some oiled anymore. its comes with a sachet which you can optionally add which i didnt
