Rear Wiper Arm

Sorry - I know this has been done before and I've searched through the archives (and read the posts) but I'm confused about models/part numbers!

My rear wiper arm is broken. True to form, there isn't a single wiper arm in the country and my dealer can't put a date on when the part will come in.

What other rear wiper arms are suitable for a 56 plate Ibiza? Some posts I read said the mk4 polo, some say mk6, some say golfs. I want to get it replaced asap, but I'm confused as to what to buy (and from where).

Any help or advice would be much appreciated!

Try www.vagparts.com and do a quick search for.... ibiza wiper

the easy way to put it is,,,,, the rear wiper from a polo or fabia the same year as your ibiza will fit

they both look different but fit the same

thank you both very much. Have ordered one from VAG parts - hopefully be here quicker than the boat from Spain.

Yes. Hopefully got one on the way from VAG parts - none in stock at any SEAT dealers apparently

thats brave de wipering it considering the amount of crap the rear screen collects!

you get to have fun trimming the circular bit that goes round the motor nut like I did last month then! Also barely tighten the nut that holds it in place or the blade will stop halfway up the screeen. I just bolted it on loosely then turned it on to check it and its been fine for over a month now and looks way better.
