she's under the knife today

120,000 service
Cambelts
Throttle body clean
and New Boots

got a Leon 1.6 Stylance to replace her, what a snail

good brakes though, nearly got rear ended :cartman:

Wish her luck :headhurt:

well she's back !!!

all in good order, wasn't the throttle body but a perished vacuum hose :D

they replaced the water pump as well for no extra cost - top marks

all for the tidy sum of £1124.00

blimey thats quite expensive!! How much did you pay for what ?

I remember seat qouting me about 500 for cambelt and water pump.. my local mechanic charged me just under 200!!

here we go then...

Basically

Tyres £480 - 4 x Michelins

Servive £220 - 40k + New plugs new water pump + hose +oil etc etc

Cambelt £300

roughly as the breakdown was discounted as I challenged the price

and a jubilee clip for the exhaust

to be fair they gave a very good customer service, so can't fault them for that, wouldn't take her anywhere else

I would have been inclined to do the service myself and take the hit for the cambelt and waterpump ... still if it needs doing and you've got no time / can find the money it doesn't really matter i guess :)

company car or i would have done/had a go at it myself

What tyre size and what tyres did you go for as I never paid that much for my Michelin PS2s
