i have become an economical driver this week to see how many miles i can get out of the tank! so i no longer possess the ability to floor it and woosh at people!!

I go through these phases, will fill up and drive really eco style for a week, then some little turd (usualy in a bmw) drives right up my arse so I say bugger it I will do the eco thing next fill.

I can't go through a full tank without slapping my foot down, just aint gonna happen!

It came out! Put the DMF back in with a weaker clutch. The rattling on idle and low revs was embarrassing! ALWAYS had to keep my foot on the clutch all the time just to keep it quiet! I wouldnt have minded if it were a track day toy like yours but pootling around town - it was just terrible.

Yeah, I see your point at the moment mine is still half track-day half used! I do find myself with the clutch down most of the time at lights etc, as I keep getting looks of death as I must "rag" the poor thing when infact its more likely I look after it too well, hense the SMF!

I am sure we can handle it....

Yeh that's exactly right! They'd sort of look as if "You car is going to implode!"

It does sound so shite but it was the best thing I had! You go drive it exactly like you shouldnt and it didn't bat an eyelid. Wish I had the power of that clutch with the quietness of my DMF.
