don't get me wrong, i LOVE my car, but the paint is
me right off now!
as you probably all know by now im getting the front bumper resprayed, but i cannot for the life of me find a paint match, the ovni yellows i keep getting mixed at various places do not match the metal parts of the car AT ALL and the shade is pretty much the same as the crapply painted front bumper now which is a total disaster. i'm trying to get the fuel cap off to get a paint match (see other thread
) i know yellow cars are a b@stard to match up, but this is ridiculous!
is there some kind of different process other than grey plastic primer - white plastic primer - yellow basecoat - laquer that needs to be done, one bodyshop (who quoted me £500 for a bumper painting
) said summat about a 3 stage yellow paint process, is that bull or does he have a point?
at a mega loss as to what to do as the car looks terrible and a full respray is out of the question, just wondered what you bodyshop lads do!
