Are you saying your motor is as quick as a ctr(civic type r)?

i am claiming to be about 2 seconds slower than you 40-100 in 4th, so are you saying you are half way between a ctr and a 911 gt3?

I dont know how quick the car is 0-100, never tested that, i simply set a stop watch off as my speedo hit 40, then stopped it 11.5 seconds later when it said 100.

Well got to be honest with you I have messed up as its not from 40! Its form 60 to 100.
My error, going to try 40 to 100 but expect it to be around the 14/15 second mark and nowhere even close to 11.5

I don't for one second think the car can do anywhere near 0-100 in 15 seconds i know that.

60 - 100 and 40 - 100 through the gears is what i'll do.

Interesting as far as my claim went I stated I had made a mistake in that my time of 10.5 seconds in 4th gear was between 60 and 100 not 40 and 100 as I stated
I expect my 40 to 100 in 4th to be around 14.5/15.0 from my leon mapped to 190 bhp

Best device to use would be a Performance Box and video it being done. I have one and think it`s a great bit of kit and piss easy to set up and use.

40-100 in 4th was around 15 seconds, through the gears was surprisingly just a tad quicker at about 14

60-100 in 4th was good, about 10-11

car feels more responsive the more miles i munch up

Your motor sounds like its had a remap to me!
Its very similar to what mine does.

had it two weeks, dont know if its std or what.

It hadn't been driven for 3 mnths when i got it and is steadily getting smoother as the miles go on.

Is yours a leon? for some reason i thought you had a toledo or something...

i really have no clue wether it has or not, all i know is the turbo whistle is 5 x louder than my mam's car - astra cdti 150, and it is quicker than a 320 ci off the line which has a 0-60 of 7.9, though he is a driver like...

I'll try it this afternoon.

If std would it outrun a volvo v70 D5? as i had one try and undertake up a slip road and just edged him out....

doubt it as they have 180bhp with a 0 to 60 of 7.9
