I want to run 30psi at 7500rpm and to get 370-380hp at the wheels
Now the car boosts 23psi. With the new file I will have more fuel so i try to boost higher. I will do some logs and if a/f is ok I try to get 30psi if not I will try another file.
I am using a custom files from Vince Saiya @ Stealth Racing UK
 
the car is a 2005 seat ibiza fr 150hp engine type bjx
I don’t know. I use to run 1.7bar up to 7200rpm with the standard engine and small port head it sits on a cast t3 manifold
Now I have the ports larger and polished and I use supertech kit valves springs and retainers
I change to i.e rods and eurospec g60 14l/b flywheel and clutchnet stage 3 clutch. aututech fuel rail 255 l/h fuel pump 440cc injectors and race fpr {2.5bar at ideal and 5 bar at 1.5bar of boost }3” system no cat. big fmic and peloqin's Differential is on the way
I hope it will hold 2bar at 7500rpm

like I said be interesting to see if the compressor can sustain the flow @ that pressure.
total flow is what you are after more than a boost figure of x,y,z

k03s @ 1.7bar vs your GT2871 @ 1.7bar = more power from the bigger turbo obviously.
You may hit your 400bhp figure max'd to that boost if it can hold it (on stealths rollers)

If you didn’t noticed I live in Israel
I start working with vince tuning vr6 supercharged after a bad experience with giaC.
He tune for me some car 1998 passat 1.8t with gt28r a 2003 a4 with atp eliminator kit. He made the file I use on the Ibiza for 30000k with stock engine and 1.7bar of boost without any problems. He tunes for me 2007 ibiza cupra 180hp that gave 251hp and 375n/m with ko3s. He also tune some 2.0t fsi with fantastic results and now he tune this Ibiza and a2002 tt225 with turbo dynamics hybrid turbo and I hope next week we will finish a 2002 ibiza with gt3071r turbo and that will be his next project
I am very happy with his tuning its much stronger then cars using revo unitronic here in Israel
I Owen a tuning shop in Israel and I am upsolute chip tuning dealer in Israel .but for costume tuning I all ways using vince to do the mapping work with grate success .

Guy is a good friend. But I like vince tuning much more
I am using guy spi wizard obd programming tool
 
1.7 bar held on a gt2871r on a standard engine!I would have thought is the max flow of the compressor and will be very close to 400bhp.Not sure if 440cc could cope?
I've maxed 540cc with a Adjustable FPR at 430bhp.
 
At 2bar of boost the fuel pressure is 5.5bar I hope it will be ok with the 440cc injectors .if not I will fit a 630cc injectors

i don't think a gt2871r will hold anymore than 1.6/1.7 bar at redline,the hotside is too small and the compressor is not large enough.
 
Before the head work the car boost 1.7bar up to 7200rpm
I hope it will be capable for more then that. I will check it tomorrow night
 
Isn't Guy Friedling the person that Custom Code use/buy base files that then get tweaked by CC??

no. supplied the authoring tools yes, writes the code? no. not as far as I know. James writes the code and adjusts etc using tools supplied.

Guy also supplies Unitronic in the US some tools as can bee seen from the uncanny resembalnce of unisettings to custom settings programmes.
 
Guy is really a one of a kind regarding the tuning tools!
He his very talented and always find a way to crack the newest ecus and make them tunable
 
I Didn’t Update For The Last Weeks Because We Had Problems With The Transmission It Stock At 5th Gear So We Had To Rebuild It
Now It’s Ok And We Set Boost To 2bar At 3800rpm And Drooping To 1.8bar At 7500rpm The Car Feels Strong
We Need Some Fine Tuning And Some More Ignitions. We Will Try The New File From Vince On Sunday
I Hope To Dyno The Car Next Week I Will Post Results Then
