Looks like they are going to... The insurance person got it down as a possible total loss and the said for me to wait till tomorrow for the engineer to contact me... and I doubt the recover depot will be that generous.. but I always have my ways in getting stuff :p haha!!

I promised my parents that I will wait until my 2nd year in Uni until I get a new car... So that be about next year during summer :)

Hopefully that tasty Seat Bocanegra will be out then!! It would be nice if it was about 12-15k and hopefully now my insurance will not sky rocket cause of my accident!!

People can dream aye.....

I wouldnt have thought it'd be a write off but they obviously do. A lot of second hand parts can be found for them.

I work in a body shop and we've repaired a lot worse than that. That looks like a nice job tbh. :)

Thanks for the comforting info :) if by luck they do fix it I will be so happy!! I had enough of the KA to be honest... The boot isn't big enough for my portfolio... The leather seats I thought would be comfortable ended up a utter pain in the back side... The breaks are terrible... Acceleration is just not the best... The power steering if you can even call it that is mega stiff... The sound system isn't the the best... Other than that I suppose the ride is much more quieter and smoother than my Ibiza... Thats about it really... Anyways that my rant over for the KA...

Even if the Ibiza is fixed my dad and friends suggest I sell it asap... They were saying something about once the car is fixed it will not feel like the same like it was before... But still, it will be very nice to drive it again... The steering, breaks, sound, acceleration, gears its just so nice... I miss the feeling...

Yeh Ka's are crap. End of. :D

Tbh if the jobs been done properly you won't be able to tell the difference whatsoever.

It looks easy enough to do tbh. It's all bolt on panels - there's no cutting of the body shell needed so it would be alright. To be honest if i was gonna have an accident - it'd want to be on removable panels only. :D

Ahh... Thats just from the outside look... Its the underside they told me I got to think about, like if the chassis is warped or something and I heard from someone that since the 'driver shaft' I think is called... If its broke then its like a write off end off... But I don't know much about technical stuff...

Will let you guys know what the final outcome is tomorrow...

Thanks for the help and information :)

Haha! Drive shaft? Naaaaaaaaaa - pop it out and slap a new one in. ;)

I doubt the chassis will be warped tbh.

But like you say - let you know. Hope all goes well. :)

funnily enough, the interior was still mint, was only 11 days old! Was indeed a write off, got another one now tho so not all bad.

DAB_88, I really hope they don't write it off... see if you can get money towards the repairs and maybe cupra front bumber ?!

I know of perfect car for that exhaust of yours if all goes t*t's up tho... :p

Jesus!! That is baaaad!! Only 11 days old!? What happened!? And I take it your interested in that exhaust? Its very nice and it has a nice mild sport growl to it ^^ If my cars a write off which I'm hoping is not... I'll saw it off for you if your interested ;) but yeah... What exactly happened to your car?? Its so badly damaged!!

Little bit too fast round a blind corner... after the blind corner was a T-junction.... i turned it into a cross-roads and used a tree + gate + ditch to slow me down!!
Passenger and myself both got out unscathed - the ibiza is an incredibly safe little motor!
Chasis was twisted, NSF Alloy in 2 pieces, disc in 3 pieces, caliper sheered clean off, sterring rack+drive shaft destroyed, NSF wing crumpled up on the tree, NS door ripped off at hinges and ended up no where near where it should of been (and in its three bits - chassis, outer, door car), back right window caved in... have a few more pics if interested lol...

Exhaust... any more pics of it, looks like it fits the gap quite nicely... 6"x4"?

Mate that looks like a bad crash! where about it notts u live? i recognised the beeston garage on the pics.
