Had a Forge Split R fitted yesterday and was fitted as per instructions. Problem is with me running higher boost levels, it keeps running in limp mode :(. Its ok for around 10-20 minutes then my boost is almost none existant. Each time its done this i have turned it clockwise 2 clicks,i have now done this about 6 times. Am i doing the right thing in keep on turning it clockwise?

Advice would be welcome :)

Have you got it fitted this way round?

Thankyou for the reply.
Yeah its the right way round. gives off all the right noises, and only a little bit of lag. Everytime i think i'v cured it it pops back in to limp mode :( All pipes ect are also on securely. Should i keep advancing it by 2 clicks like i have been doing?

Thanks again for the reply

Yep, I'd keep turning it until you hear chatter, which means it's too tight, then back it off a click or two until the chatter stops. A good starting point is around 25 clicks from stop, or 2.5 full turns. Might be worth turning it back to the start and trying again.

The whole valve could be leaking though.

Cheers Rob.
Got no chatter at the moment, and my lag seems to reduce alittle each time i do a couple of clicks. Will try and persevere with it and hope that it sorts it self out.

Cheers guys

Just a quick question? with it keep going in to limp mode, is it causing any damage to anything else when doing so? I think i'v finally cracked it, after another 6 clicks or so, but i just want to be sure i'm not knackering up owt else.

Cheers

Ken

I think you'll be ok mate thats what limp mode is for.
It would be worth getting it vag comed though to check what the error codes were

forge told me 16 click clockwise under standard boost and 20-21 remapped.
