Which HID Kit to buy?

Cupra R Potter
Hello all

I have just bought myself a Cupra R - comes on Thursday :)

I really want HIDS - I am willing to spend upto £80 for a set - was just wondering if the cheap sets are as good as the higher priced sets such as these:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-LEON-HID...12|39:1|66:2|65:12&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318

I dont mind paying more if the quality is better

Also cant decide between 4300k and 6000k, if anyone has comparable pictures of these that would be great

Thanks
Andy

Use the search mate - loads a threads on these. Most people use the 6000's

Daineshop off ebay had good resports and many have bought them from here with no probs.

I've got 6k from Dianeshop, really happy with them quality wise etc but they are the tiniest bit too blue for me - if I need to buy again I will be getting the same ones as spudisdabest - roughly the same price, but slightly whiter light and slimline ballasts.

There is no point to the expensive sets. they are all the same.

Every cheap set is made in the same factory in china.

The only expensive ones you can ever buy are built into the lights and made by bosch and cost upwards of £200 a piece for the bulb etc + housing hense a £400 option.

:) so buy as cheap as possible.

Actually the heat emitted by HIDs is more intense round the bulb hense the LED sidelights fail often with a HID application.

Also the problem fitting in standard units is due to the length of the bulb being longer slightly so your bean wont be the same.

Also in factory fitted units the lights will adjust when going up hills and even to a degree bumps in the road to avoid dazzling on comers.

BUT!!!!

Screw then each person to themselves and i love my HIDs.
