I will talk with Forge for the Leon Cupra 2007 version that has the cold air attachment. I think they finally have one as the Cupra is different then the normal 2 liter TFSI motors...

Not decided which one to get yet though bud. Also, none of the kits on the JKM page are available for the Cupra yet either. The Forge one was withdrawn from sale last week as it does not fit the Cupra properly.

JKM fitted my Forge induction kit OK, unless my car was a guinue pig and after that they withdrew it, better call Kate and find out.

I want rid of my carbonio. Wanted the vf engineering. Admitedly part of the reason is the sound! Has any one any vids or recordings of the dbilas???

No, but I have heard them. No real increase in sound to be honest but they seem to be fairly efficient. Igor and Owen both have them.

We could maybe compare mine to Owens next time we have the cars together.

I have asked JKM for a group buy price on the VF unit. They had mentioned they may be able to do a group buy on the Forge when it becomes available too. It does not appear that heat shielding is part of the Forge kit though, and it is hidden away from the OEM air intake below the headlight.

Did they agree to the VF? I am going to afghanistan in weeks few but if i can save some cash on the VF i'll try and sort something out, as i mentioned in ur Pm.

Not yet, but I will let you know mate. Certainly appears to be the open cone set up that is most likely able to give better figures given its location and the heat shielding.

Shame no tests have been done yet of one intake kit vs another to see exactly which one is the one to go for.

Had a VF Engineering one on my car for a bit, and while the fluttering was ok when pressing on I found it always there even on normal driving and the air sucking noise made it sound as if the car had a big hole behind the glovebox, not something I was keen on so took it off.

There was a better throttle responce over a stage 1 car and possibly a slightly better top end with it on.

I am after a Dbilas one now as they are a lot quieter and just as good if not better from what I can gather reading on here.

Found those last night, from the back sounds like my car. love the flutter from the front.

Shame there's no group buy :(

The dibilas may be a slight better performer but after a bit more noise, Im sure my car wont be slow with the fuel pump and phase 2?

Same as me bud - i would like the best performer, but would like a little intake note, as chavvy as it might be lol
