^^^ agree ^^^

mentioned that earlier. Would rather see it set to something like 90% width so you have a border around the edges

i must be getting old... my first impression is its certainly very bright.
Perhaps we need to wait a few days before making too many suggestions as its often what you are used to and the fact its 'changed' rather than what its changed to thats the issue.

Although the actual posts seen less prominant within the whole page now. - I dont think that due to bolt type, colours and pics etc that signatures should stand out more than the post itself. Is there some way of getting more control over signatures?

I liked the simple informative style of the old forum and always found others to be over complicated by comparison.

I think it looks good, although I've not actually used it much yet.

Only thing I don't like so much is the top banner - specifically the white bar right across the top with one giant search tab in it. Everything else looks professional but I think the white bar just looks like a mistake or the screen hasn't rendered properly. Would prefer to see the proper green/yellow banner right at the top of the page.

Is there any way we can select an alternative "subtle colours" skin, so it's not immediately obvious when surfing SCN at work ? I like the new colours but they don't half draw attention at work....

have to agree with you mate, but then with any psychology, change is always rejected first, then review, then familiairisation and then acceptance

its growing on me thats for sure!:) although a little annoying it does not fit on one page but i understand this is getting sorted

it does look cleaner and crisper though:D

Ah gotcha. :D

Yer sorry, i wasn't very clear. We discovered something was amiss last night after you had gone offline. It's probably why Safari has thrown a hissy fit with it.

But something isn't quite right with the settings or the coding of the skin. But were on the case.

As always change takes time to get right. But if we don't push on, rather than stagnate using old software. We'll lose interest in SCN completely.

If SCN doesn't interest us anymore then we'll probably give up on it, and if we decide to stop, it dies with us.
