heyy everyone!

found this site looking for infomation n my ibiza yesterday and liked the site so much decided to get in on action

so yh my ride..
always wanted mk 3 ibiza loved them since i started learning to drive :) (even tho i deep down know it was really a vw/audi mix and match)
right now its bog standard, plus last lady owner wasnt very nice to the poor thing:(
covered in little scratchs etc so right now im just trying to fix this and that
...tell a lie i bought new personal plates for it straight away :D

got a long list of fun things to change
going to respray interior bits and re cover seats
full body kit
etc etc:)
yeah so if anyone has any sugestions on what i should really change/get rid off/put new on feel free to say :)

as an added bonus someone hit my car while i was parked out side where I work so wasnt happy luckly can get that banged out for free as its only 2 small-ish dents

well heres some pics (it was a little bit to sunny i think haha)
these pics are pre-dent :)

nice car mate, we have a non cupra chat you should join. have a look at mark's car, mine, (mat@sws, he used to have a 1.4)

lots of things you can do. you can view my exterior mods from my sig, also got a sound system install thread going on so have a peek in there too (befor eyou start asking about how to install a sub + amp etc)

Nice looking little car, get some alloys and spacers on the back.

Gotta say it's so sunny I can barely tell what colour it is, but I'm guessing it's blue lol

yeah it was the only sunny day we had durin the summer so i thought take some now before it rains again lol!
i am going to get some alloys for it very soon actually as i need new tyres im going to get both at once
should i got for 16s or 17s i heared 17's is a squeeze but 16s fit nicely??

Wisey :D

ooo yh btw adam i seen your car mods looking very nice! and i read that thread on the sound system...it was the first thing i read as google took me to it when i was trying to find ideas on what everyone was doing with te cd player ideas

Id say colour coding is definetly one of the best mods.

Makes the car look lower, when you do the bottom of the bumpers and makes it looks more like a top of the range model. lol.

Mirrors look good colour coded and door handles would look good too but i never bothered with them.

Other things you can do are aero wipers and a polo rear wiper. And debadge the rear. Oh and get rid of the vibe stickers. Mine had chill stickers and it looked so much better without them.

well as im going to change alot of things on the car i was going to leave colour coding till last like im going to get a full body kit when i got the money i will show u if you like
but then again i seen some LUSH cars on here with jut standard kit on them

yeah vibe must go thats high on my list but i wasnt going to debadge the rear as i was going to put "vibe" on in those metal letters or would you say dont do that?

loving all this advice my only mate who i can just talk about cars for hours to has a classic mini cooper so style vary haha!

Wisey :D

If your gonna get a bodykit, the best thing to do is just get the Cupra one. Looks a lot better than all the ebay specials lol. The majority of them look like they'be been stuck on with blue tack and don't suite the style of the car.

Only problem is the Cupra kit costs a fortune from the dealers and you've to get it painted. As with any kit. So most people with non cupras on here tend to just modify the original bumpers, and maybe stick on some sideskirts and a cupra spoiler like adam has.

It's all down to personal preference really!

Interesting idea with getting metal VIBE letters. Would look pretty good and original.

Lol I have the same problem with my mates, not many of them are SEAT fans lol, and even the ones who are into cars dont seem to mod them much. So this place is great. And you can generally be sure of some sound advice as everyone here really knows their stuff.

well i always said that through the years as well that body kits don suit cars and look cheap but i found this one and thought ooo thats not bad like...

btw the rear lights ar blue because the car use to be re so i phoshopped everyting red to blue forgeting the lights would change:doh:

so yes or no on kit?

glad you like my vibe idea i havnt seen it done on this site so wasnt sure if it was a good idea or not haha!

non of my friends are seat fans lol one refuses to do anything to his clio even wont put a cd player in  other mate wants a honda civic and my other mate lke i said mini cooper. Do you get the "dude your driving a spanish car how good can it be?" insults? haha even tho its pratically a vw haha

I would say no for the kit. It's not the worst I've seen but I'm not a big fan of body kits.

But its not really about what I think, your car! and if you like it, go for it.:D

true but i like to know if people like things before i go and do them so i dont get the what a waste after if people then dont like it Lol.

your car as well as many others look awesome with just colour coded bumpers i shall do that first i think and leave kit till last i might change my mind by the tie i get kit haha!

the one things im def. doing tho is re-upholstery the seats tho how hard can that be ;)

wisey :D

Yup colour coding definetly makes a really big difference.

Re-upholstering the seats sounds good, what type of material are you gonna go for. Something else to think about, a lot of people get the seats from a cupra, if theres one breaking. They're half leather and a lot more supportive than the standard ones.

don't know yet really i was thinking of going for leather round the edges then a blue material in the middle. Get me?? hah!
cupra seats do sound like what im thinking actually! im changing them for a few reasons...
they just refuse to look clean no matter how much i clean them
they look naf, faded an worn out :) plenty of reason to change them hha!

Mine are blue lol! In a red car :wtf:

blue in red what were seat thinking haha!

mine are all grey (boring) with these funky littlel coloured rectangles on them not to styling haha

they need to be changed! haha ad while im at it i might as well spray everything grey plastic to black :) so everything matches nicely

I used to own a 1.4 'vibe' in red. Probly find some pics of it somewhere on the site. I managed to get a near complete cupra body kit for it, including interior! So you probably have all the mod cons such as exercise window winders, manual locking... great fun! The most basic mk3 in the world...!! LOL
