Bent bracket on coilover?

aren't you supposed to shorten them??

mines is as low as can possibly be,

on a factory ARB not one fault.

yeah well mine did seem to be alrite on standard ones but apparently damaging the draft shaft slightly, how low is urs?

i have miles of clearance for the driveshaft

whis is why ive never understood the chassis leg mod or the shortening of things

ah rite cheers for letting me know...although really F***ed off the garage told me to do it quickly before more damage was done turns out its the other way round...do u think it will be a case of bending it back and putting the old ones back on?

The bracket on the strut, if somethings bent, and you bend it back, it'll weaken it alot. Then it'll be even easier to bend again....

Those coilovers do not need shortened arb links as they are made to be used with the original ones.

Thats why that wee bracket is there to allow the use of the original arb links.

ah rite. it just looked so close to the drive shaft...shud it be ok straightening it and putting the old ones back on or has too much damage been done? will it effect the ride forever?
