Need some help please. LEON PD 150 JABBA custom map, BMC CDA

Driving home hard, reving pask 3500 but not more than 4000, Suddenly on a pull away in 2nd round a bend where the car usaully losses traction, The car losses traction with traction control on, And experiences a limitation in power, but not the usual, the car continues to have no power and is running like ****, Sounds like it has no air filter on it, and Im very worried. I stop the car. It starts fine, but is running rubish, there is no power at all, and it sounds horrible. No warning lights though. Its dark, but on the limp home thinking im not going to make it there is a car behind me and it does look like it was smoking a little.

Car still starts fine. No clunking noises, just runs horrible.

What could it be. Im thinking MAF. It happend suddenly. If there was a cel I would be more at ease that I could plug in vag com.

Any factual or expienced opinios welcome. I cant really afford to have my car towed into the dealers.

Thanks Matt

You've blown a turbo hose off, and you've lost all your boost pressure. Look under the bonnet and follow all the turbo hoses til you find the one that's popped off.

Ill get under there tommorow and have a look, as well as pluging in vag com and seeing if there are any errors. i hope its a plown pipe. thanks guys

If you have vag.com then plug it in and find out any errors! :)

Thats the starting point i think!

Not if its a boost pipe popping off like already said ;)

If it pillows out loads of black smoke when you put ya foot down, its a boost pipe fact.

As above, check boost pipes if they are all secure, go and for a 2 second drive and check if it is smoking, if there is no smoke with your foot planted, then its in limp mode and then needs vag-com.

It's surprising how much boost you can lose due to a popped hose without any warning lights...

Sounds good, as if it is a boost pipe that has popped off, then it wouldnt pop up with any fault codes! So looking likey, check underneath on the drivers side, thats a usual

If you cant visually see it it might be pipe no.4 which is quite a common weak point of the system. Pipe number 4 is the fmic outlet pipe on the drivers side.

Had a look at the car today, and to my relief it was a boost leek, Pipe had popped right off, bottom passenger side where plastic meets rubber. All fixed and repaired in my lunch brake.

Guess what, im ordering a new set of hoses, Cant be having that happen again in the middle of nowhere.

Thanks for the advice guys.
