Sometimes when I start my SEAT Ibiza, the engine runs fine but the steering becomes very stiff, like there’s no power steering. At the same time, the display shows “Safelock check.”
The car is a 2012 1.2 TDI. I’ve already replaced the hydraulic pump, so I don’t think that’s the issue.
Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could be causing this?
