so would you say dont bother then ?

i dont meen a £20 crapper from halfrauds i meen a proper induction made for the car (if there is one)

:)

i'd only get an induction kit if u plan on getting a DPF delete and remap later on. thats what i plan to do when the mod becomes available.

A green cotton or K&N filter panel replacement should do.

DPF Delete?

You mean I can get rid of the thing?

How do I do this?

it's currently in develpment. some tuners will do it now. it involves replacing the OEM downpipe with a milltek high bore downpipe, therefore removing the annoying particle filter. It's only a matter of time when this is widely available.

call REVO to find out more on current set-up or custom code for info on their development of the remap and kit.

Won't that make it fail the emissions on the MOT?

just swap the downpipe for ur MOT and replace it afterwards. Just like a guys who run de-cat pipes when the come to an MOT.

Result.

Don't need an MOT until September 2011 by then the car will have long been back with the lease company. Probably with a new owner.

Anyone know anyone whom can do the work to De-DPF?

Revo or custom code atm. give them a call to see. custom code are testing. revo have apparently done a couple of cars and ironing out the know rev holding issues on a remapped FR 170.

I know diesels don't need cats but how will a remap FR170 cope with the particle test in the MOT. this is the only really hurdle for a DPF delete option.

My cars got a K&N 57i intake and its been re-mapped, but if you start the car (eg. really cold) and drive straight into traffic it judders sometimes, with the stop-start'ness, does anyone know how to fix this problem or what exactly is causing it?
