Bought set of 4 mats from Seat and they were £25. The black ones with red piping and SEAT badge on them.

On the negative side they just had holes for the studs on the floor of my car to fit onto and so the mats don't stay put, although they don't move much. Thought they should have some sort of a locking catch, don't know if they supplied me the wrong ones.
Hi, do you have any pics of these so when I get my ones from Seat I can tell the difference please? :)

Beware, my Seat official mats only lasted 2 months where my right heel rests.....maybe I should have had it off the floor with the pedal to the metal more & they might have lasted [:@]

The mats from SEAT come supplied with fixings, so if they come supplied with the opposite of what you have, simply swap the fixings out ;)

Thanks for the info mate (and sorry it taken so long to get back to you).

The mats do indeed come with the relevant fixing, but do the existing fixings come out? Aren't they bonded onto the carpet

Thanks again!

No - they should just be screwed into the carpet. The fixings are plastic screws with a very coarse thread on them IIRC.

They may have some sort of ridge on the bottom of them to make them resistant to slipping undone, but a firm turn should overcome this.

It's been a while since I had the Leon, but I think that's right - someone else with correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure!

Sorry for all the questions mate!

But when you say the mats come replacement fixing kits, are you talking about the (male) lugs on the floor or the (female) openings on the mat itself that are provided?

I’ve received some mats today but they don’t have replacement fixing kits. They mats have the round holes, but the car has the oval lugs.

Might have to get the dremmel out and make the bloody holes oval… Whilst saying to the mats “Who’s the daddy now?” :cartman:

Thank for any guidance!

Charlie :)
