I paid for the last one and now I want this one sprayed and fitted under warantee!!! How likely is this to happen

I've secured mine with white tape. It's not visible unless you get a look under the car. Otherwise I might have lost them by now.

On the bright side, you must have 2 spares with the side skirts you have been trying to sell for the last 6 months

i thought that too and it was tempting to take them BUT the skirts are finally sold and being collected today :(

i've never had any probs with mine and they've been on and off a few times due to punctures...

I got mine covered under warranty, as far as I am concered its a bit of trim/bodywork that should last/stay on the car for the duration of at least 3 years...

Interesting thread - didnt know this was an issue...

However... I had rattle problems (usually at upper speed limits) from something underneath my car and after a few searches and pointers from people on this forum the jacking point cover was identified. My dealer tried a couple of times to fix it which only ever seemed temporary at best, until they said Seat had come up with different (longer IIRC) screws.

Since the new screws its been quiet... Perhaps the new screws also stop them coming off so easily?

There are no screws on the jack covers  Maybe it was your lower tray.

Lost one myself a few months ago, never had any luck trying to get one free under warranty mind! When i put the new one on drilled a small hole in the end of the cover and the sill under the car. Then used a pipe cleaner to hold it on! Works a treat and easy to get off if ever needed.

lost my passenger side last week and they wouldnt cover under warrenty either which i think was an absolute joke!

now on my 3rd panel now.. just needs spraying which will happentonight...

should be fun

Lost mine a couple of weeks ago, sounds like it's a common problem, my local dealer
has quoted £40 painted, which i thought was a lot?! Think i will tape the other side on!
