I'm sure a member on here got hold of a grommet that was half rubber and half glass. Look really good.

One other thought is.... Couldn't a windscreen repair company fill in the hole and then polish it up?

yep i can remember him... he also had a smoothed boot... it looked sh!thot

enough said mate. lol

Ash, you need calipers pads disks and carriers to go 312mm. The standard calipers dont match the 312 carriers.

I believe there are some 312mm S3 calipers in the for sale section at the moment.
May be worth a look.

As for the De-wiper. It looks ace. Perhaps try and paint the gromet a similar colour to the glass area it plugs into?

I thought it was just a case of change carriers and that was it? Might just upgrade standard discs and pads all round then....

Might do this today, where can i get the grommet from, 25mm you said yea? Whats all this fuss about the boot trim, is it quite difficult to take off?

It's hard to tell from the pics if it looks good, perhaps if you have another from further away, i'd be able to tell? Weathers starting to get better now aswell :)

It has a habit of breaking. Then it doesnt hold back on the boot very well. And yes, it's a 25mm grommet from Halfords or somewhere similar. :) And no, that was the only pics I took!

If I could get a smooth glass that'd be cool. But definitely don't like the rubber. :(

Any pics or anything? Do you remember who it was?

Nope its calipers and pads too. Complete different setup matey. Can get the calipers, carriers and hoses, from the TT shop for £100.
Then you just need to find disks and pads.
