Interior Light...

Odd problem this...

Noticed when I unlock the car the interior light comes on then goes straight out ... where as it used to stay on until I got in the car.

Anyone know why?

Also when opening passenger door (front) the interior light no longer comes on ...

i recall people saying this could be related to fuse 38 - but that also affects central locking which i take is all ok

Yes... if i dont open the door...

Could be either micro-switch in the door or fuse i say.

Well despite searching in the door latch I cannot find the door switch on the passenger side!!!

Any pointers?

cheers for the post. think i can live with my light not coming on when i open the door tho. sod doing all that lol
