ibiza cupra mk2 bootlid thing

hi, on my cupra my plastic trim above my numberplate is black whereas all over cupras ive seen are red, did all cupras come with red and mine has been replaced or did some come with black?

Would hazard a guess yours has been replaced.

all tinted red to match the rear lights afaik but must admit though plain black can look good on the right colours though

mine came with carbon effect decal stuff...also on the pillars between the windows...still not sure if i like it or if its worth all the headwork getting the glue off!!!

Mad man. IMO The carbon is beautiful. It gives the cupra that little bit extra and doesnt look tacky like carbon effect can. I have spent ages getting the carbon cupra gear and a new ibiza inscription script with carbon effect as they fade and peal over time. Shame they dont do the SEAT side.

I know what you mean...it does look good but then sometimes i think id rather it without, because it can give the impression that ive driven through halfrauds!

you can still get hold of them if you are interested? they are about £45 from seat dealer. they are special order though so you will have to pay up front!

Im sure you can get the Seat side of it. I got them for my 1.4 because I liked them better than the black.

I can try and find the part number for it if your still needing one.

yea i used to have the carbon fibre effect... it came off within a few weeks of me getting the car... Probably for the same reason as sionowz i think of it not been actual carbon fibre and it having the potential of a halfords look
