Hey, iv got a 4 bar FPR fitted to my Ibiza cupra, But theres a power boost valve fitted in line before it and i see no reason for it? Iv searched and searched and cant find anyone else on the forum with one.

When i come to remove it the car wont run. Is it because my standard cupra pump isnt up to the job? ??? Please help?
The return line still comes off the fuel rail but the pressure side goes through this then to the FPR. There is a vac line to the boost valve and thats all i can tel you im afraid. it just sits there.

I havent made a bracket for it because the thing looks horrible and i want rid but its startin to rub a hole in my washer bottle tank!

Baz where about you from? Aberdeen?

I had one of these horrible things on my car when i bougfht it made it run like a bag of bolts. Pidge removed mines by looking at his setup so if your needing we could have a look at my engine bay and see whats wrong with yours.

Just an idea.

I'm up in Fraserburgh btw so a good while away but willing to help.

Looking into it further i dont know if i can remove it, looks like its an adjustable FPR. Its got sytec written on it but no sign of pressure and the fuel gets put straight in through the top, no vac pipework to it or anything

thats just the adapter to make the powerboost valve thingy connect into the fuel rail, you need to get ur self a new fuel pressure regulator

Then i think you just connect the hose on the top of the powerboost valve to the fuel rail, and connect a vac hose to the OE fuel pressure reg.

Thats exactly what i was thinkin, Thanks for the conformation.
So is it just really for the adjustable power boost valve, looks really rough. :(
Was just thinkin of gettin a new FPR and doin away with the power boost valve, just takin the vac line from the top of the new FPR to the manifold and orderin a new fuel pressure line. :D
