Sorry to crash post, so the Falken 452's are good all round tyres then?
ie) very good in dry and decent in the wet too?
I am looking to replace mine, previous owner has put some new ones on the front (probably to help sell it) but they are Prestivo Sport (have to say they are pooh!! never heard of them b4).
My rears are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A.
I am getting the annoying road/vibration noise which we all know is common and based on either uneven wear or different tyres (hink rears are wearing a little uneven)
So I'm also looking for a new set of 4 (18's on the k1)
I guess we'd all recommend a good 4 well alignment aswel?
I still have the original tyres my FR came with (the bridgestones) and they have lasted well. At the cars recent 20K service I was told the fronts are down to 3mm and the rears still have plenty of tread on them.
I do mainly motorway driving and have not found the tyres to be noisy either, so I am in two minds whether to change brands or stick with Bridgestone.
Will I get similar mileage out of the recommended alternatives?
OEM Tyres are different to ones that you buy from Kwik Fit etc, the new ones wont last as long, talk to any tyre place and they will tell you the same thing
