Think arch rolling would have to be done though, I'll send a pic of the back and see what you think on the legal side

Yeah go for it! Although arch rolling on the back of the mk4 is difficult as the inner edge is pretty much straight up anyway. If you get the correct suspension set up on the rear then you shouldn't have a problem!
