leon cupra R onvi yellow

I have had my LCR 2003 210bhp model from 08.08.2007 totally standed... picked it up with 63000miles on the clock all the way from London innit lol... long drive from north yorkshire but great drive back tho! lol few small pissed off moments along the way starting with...skidding on ice and cracking my rear alloy wheel and somone keyed it all down one side, but all is sorted now and on 78000 and just passed its MOT..

The best colour!!!

Looks very smart. Did you paint your inlet manifold yourself or is it powdercoated? Wouldn't mind seeing a head on engine bay shot if you have one. Thinking about painting my engine and battery covers, but not sure what colour. Maybe black, yellow or a combination of the two.

Painted it my self bit of a bitch 2dooooo as the paint dry’s really quick as you do one stroke and gooo over it again its drying and pulls the paint, will sort one out a picture 2night and pop it up mate but I was the same did not know if 2doooo it yellow or carry on the bits of red from the brembo etc even now i am like hmmm maybe should have done yellow grrrrrrrr lol

What’s an oVni……. oNvi between seatcupra.net friend’s lol but thanks my bad!! Lol I best change it... Maybe mine is a different yellow tho hmmm lighter, less weight etc maybe quicker than a ovni

It’s a new line in light weight custom paint this time next year all the kids will want it lighter smoother non fading or stone chipping…..lol and thanks mate cool of you 2say soooo

thanks mate, Its flower flow W6x3” x L12 don’t really hear it in side the car driving norm but real nice sound when accelerating hard outside the car with the odd exhaust pop…lol

I do think the red looks good-bit different from the normal yellow black colourscheme

I presume you took the manifold off, guess it would be a bit tricky otherwise?

My forge hoses are blue, so it could end up being blue/yellow/black!!! Perhaps could go yellow and carry the blue through it with a couple of stripes or something to break it up Can always go back to black if it looks cack

Did not take the manifold off just taped all around it and set about it with paint brush in hand lol looking back maybe would have been easier if I had lol ..
…well I know a lot of people go for the blue does look smart with the black….. Guess you will only know when you start doing it…..and like you said worst comes 2 worst can always go back 2the black…

Im painting and laquering my brembos this wkend hopefully.

Did think about it but… with having the “R” badge on each side and one on the back wanted something little different and the cupra one looks better I think lol.
Funny you should say that just got my self some brembo stickers so I can do mine again instead of paint around the brembo logo, you will have 2stick some pictures up when yours are done mate

Was a pain tho and looks ok few little 2 touch ups needed but only if your real close and having a real good look, want 2 change the inlet manifold black hose 2red so will doooo it then
