no idea on the fuses, but out of curiosity was your old switch the same as new switch?
ask as must have been a change over at some point.

mine is a 2004 june 04 cupra tdi
old green
new purple

My car came with the purple one when I bought it in 2005, the purple one was replaced with the green one under warranty.

My new one looks very similar to this, its very skinny compaired with the green one.

My car is 2005 ARL FR.

Chris, dont listen to the dealers, they are talking bullsh1t, the part number you want is the one i said and its the green one, the green one is the newer stronger one, AmD also confirmed this for me. Also chris, that black one in the picture is the cr@p one mate, its the green one you want Aslong as its sorted mate, all is good, but the green one was the one to have, AmD did tell me the green one

i took the green to vw and he said it had been updated / upgraded to the purple one

Yeh, only after overrun and only happens at about 1600RPM, just as the turbo is spooling.............no smoke when booting.

Knackered injector?
