hi people just bought a MBC if i put the boost to 14-16psi whould there be any problems with ecu goin into limp mode?

By MBC, do you mean a bleed valve??? Not sure if many people use them.

Just get a stage 1 remap for more boost, ECU won't have any issues then.

from what i've heard these cars don't seem to like manual boost control adjustments, as said stick with mapping.

No not a bleed valve well its a spec r boost controller, and the reason i dnt want a remap is that ive just bought a k04 setup and getting the ko4 hybrided, then map that as it would cost more if was to map it now and then after!
