… the gap between the wheel arch and a front wheel???? Only asking as last week I replaced the suspension on my LC for an LCR setup, I now how a four finger gap (75mm) where as on the old and most likely shagged LC setup I had a two finger (40mm) gap. Whats the norm?

Can you fit two or four fingers in...

thought was was going to be a very rude question then!

two fingers doesnt sound like normal set up.
however of course, no two fingers are the same.

it may settle a bit.
are the springs seated correctly?

Yeah springs are seated correctly, I'm hoping it will settle a bit, i did use new top mounts

mine is probably between 2-3 fingers with top mounts and suspension that needs replacing but give it a while to settle.

Is this the new measurement for car heights! Makes sense I guess as we use horses to measure the power, so why not hands to measure the car!? ;)

Take a measurement from the centre f the alloy/hub to the inner of the wheel arch.
I'll do the same with my car and well see what's what

It'll probably settle down and will be about three fingers. You're old setup was probably buggered, shocks etc was probably worn thats why it sat lower
