SEAT Leon Cupra R

REVO Cupra K1

Like it says in the article £12K for a decent Cupra and £3K for the kit. 10 seconds quicker to 140pmh than an RS. Yum yum!

Nice bit of publicity for Revo. I used an open cone intake but its just too noisey for everyday use - i do miss that noise though as its intoxicating when giving it some. THS intercooler? Anyone on here used one - any good!!!

Think its pretty new bud. I am sure Revos car was the development mule for it. What intake you using?

Wasn't this in Performance car a few months back?

Great bang for your buck:)

360bhp.....now where have I seen that figure before:whistle:

5.7 to sixty is a little slow though.

manual, fwd, toyo r-1's and 360BHP(320ftlb)........won't make for a quick 0-60, it spins up 1st and 2nd sooo easily it makes it quite hard to get a good time down. In gear times though :D

Traction off, they took the PC times that were done on VBox at Bruntingthorpe. Running a slightly higher 0-60 gives a better 0-100 though, I had the 0-60 a little quicker but then hanging onto 2nd too long misses the sweet spot in third!

what happens if you nail it with the traction control on?
do you lurch towards the steering wheel as the power is reduced or is it not as bad as that?

I've never tried one with traction control on, turn it off where ever possible. It's a natural reaction to reach for the TCS off button as soon as you turn the ignition on!
