Rob - It cuts back, sometimes in conjunction with some wheel hop. Sometimes it cuts back enough that progress is significantly inhibited in 1st and sometimes 2nd gear.

Great write up and very interesting read. For £15k 360bhp cant complain! I didnt know till i saw on the the article you can pick up a decent Cupra £12K! Looks the business in the photos, makes me want a Cupra....

talking of wheel hop , when i turn my traction control off there is a lot less wheel hop , just a squeak and squirm then go , much better no bouncing at all.

what do you reckon 0-60 should be, like 5.3 - 5.5 non dsg in the dry.

hows the big turbo coming on?

Should be about 0.1 to 0.2 slower than the DSG due to the gearchange needed at just below 60, unless Revo have upped the rev limit, which means it should be about the same as the DSG:)

Big turbo is progressing slowly, the RSR pistons and rods seem to have disappeared into a trans atlantic hole and they haven't even got the injectors in stock:cry: The good news is that I should be near to Chris's monster output when finished and he is now running 470bhp[B)]. Downside is it looks like I'll be off to the @ring in October with a "measly" 360 horsies.

Everything else is here though and today I've just received the OSIR boost pod holder, all I need now is a Defi gauge to put in it:D

Thread jack over....as you were:funk:

manual, fwd, toyo r-1's and 360BHP(320ftlb)........won't make for a quick 0-60, it spins up 1st and 2nd sooo easily it makes it quite hard to get a good time down. In gear times though :D

Needs a wot box:D

In gear times are superb[B)] I use it as a benchmark to all the other cars that come out and are measured in the same way, and most are slower, even some of the big hitters!

Are you gonna put an LSD on it?

I love my Revo stage 2+, but the K04 doesn't quite give me enough to satisfy my bhp cravings:)

It comes out in 1 minute. I designed it that way. Only need to undo 2 audio fixings and out it all pops. Quite trick and looks OEM whilst in[B)]. With 400+bhp soon I'll be able to leave it in:D
