they are still pd engines in the ibiza, not common rail if thats what you mean.

Also derv power, you are closer to that other company, they are in leeds even if you were in notts its still closer. basically the cost of fuel to get there and back will out weight any savings of the remap price to the point where id look at the company rather than price.

edit quick look and rstuning in leeds has a good website, p-torque not so good. i know which one id go to not just based on that of course but

think i'm going to be different and try a revo map. this is going off topic slighty but is it worth getting your cr serviced before you take it to get remapped? and if so, how much is a service these days?

I didn't get mine serviced and I don't think it makes any difference.

As for tuning companies - you can't go wrong choosing any of the established companies. The VW diesel engines have been round for a long time so there's not much that isn't known about them. Some people choose a company as much on their location as well as their reputation. Just don't get too hung up on 'projected' horsepower figures.

It's about the same distance tbh mate. Think the main reason i'm choosing P-Tourque is the fact people seem to get good results, and a good service. As of yet, not seen any bad reviews.

Having a look around all the other remapping firms now as well just to double check.

Edit: Just spent last hour or so looking at all the different re-mapping companies. For me it does seem that P-Torque are the best :)

As of the 29th August i shall be able to tell you for sure lol

Also...Would i be looking at getting much MPG increase?

We can do aggressive torque spikes, but does it make for a nicer drive and faster....no

My Z4M coupe only peaks at 280lbs/ft, but because its smooth, and holds the power it drives very well, and delivers power througout

Sorry, shouldn't mention BMW on this site :ban:

Chispadete do you have something against P Torque?

Excellent map from Will on my Fabia VRS had it done at 43k now on 49k with no problems

180bhp and 301lb ft on the rolling road suspect its more 175ish and 295ish as I dont take RR as gospel but nonetheless very happy.

basically p-torque is cheaper than anyone else on this forum for a remap so most people go to him for a remap.

thats all

Not just that he's a good bloke and the Map is decent. He tweeked it for me as I didn't want too much tourque due to the standard clutch.

i did say on here, as i dont know any other company on this forum selling remaps as cheap, if you want to look at that as a bad thing, go right ahead i was saying it as factual. much like the website you look on revo, cc, rs, p-torque and well its not hard to see how much money has been put on a website. #1 search results shows all proper url's for everyone other than p-torque that wasnt anything against them, again just fact. lots of people run ptorque phase 1 maps with no problems, which is good. just like many run other maps with no problems. why that means im against them i dnt know

In fairness I am intending to get the website updated, but can guarantee I concentrate on my software development for the cars more :)

I know of a few companies that have amazing websites, but I also know I wouldn't let my car anywhere near them!

In all fairness though this seems to be an issue with that hosting company rather than the p-torque site its self. I've often come across that weird url form from sites hosted by that company.

I've had a Revo and a Jabba on MK3 Cupra's, the stage 1 Revo was brilliant, stage 2 was OK, and Jabba stage one, was poor - very progressive, very boring, and very slow!

For my new MK4, I will probably go to Revo, as the SEAT dealer 5 minutes from me, is an authorised Revo dealer, combine that with not having to get time off work to travel distances it makes more sense.

I hear nothing but good things about p-torque, people have made some crazy distance journeys to go there, and so that must stand well for them, also Custom-Code are another well liked map it seems.

No matter what people say, you have to get a map how YOU want it, people will be dissapointed in a map if it's too progressive if they like the all at once boost effect, others will prefer progressive.

As has been said, any of the major companies should please :)

i cant see how my facts are useless, as a company it has a image. whos ever fault that doesnt look professional thats all i said, id say the same for revo if their website looked crap? just happens its theirs whats the big deal, you have a remap from them and you love it right, i dont so obv. you know more than me
