After taking my Cupra to the Motorscope Rolling Road afternoon my Standard managed the following fantastic result:-
278.6bhp @ 6198rpm
253.6lbft torque @ 3059rpm
The car is standard only has a Milltek Cat-back exhaust.
As you can imagine I was shocked, staggered & over the moon with the results.
My question is has my car already been remapped before I owned it? It was an ex-demo and 9 months old when I bought it.
I was intending to Bluefin the car at Christmas time. Question is do I bother?
Would the remap take it to around 300bhp??
On the day I was only expecting around 250bhp.
Has anyone had similar figures for their standard Cupra's?
My understanding is that the Motorscope rollers are pretty much accurate as people managed similar figures than that of a previous event at RS Tuning in Leeds.
Cheers

this with the car being completely standard! there were two LCRs there also which just had a panel filter and both got 224 and 227 bhp which are the standard quoted figures
. Few others on here have had 260-268bhp. The map and the engine we have on the mk2 cupras is the same which is going in the VW Scricco R20 that has 261bhp/258 lb ft as standard
