Clunk when Engaging Clutch

Hi Guys

Whilst driving When I change gear I get a clunking noise when it engages.

Have depressed / released the clutch with engine off and no noise.

Have depressed / released the clutch with engine running but stationery and it also clunks.

Also:

The clucth operates fine, but I regularly find that the pedal pedal sticks about 1.5" before the end of its travel.

Any ideas.

This may sound funny but my ZR used to do this and it was the floor mats catching and dragging on the pedal. Just a check really.

my 106 used to stick just before it would bite..right PITA..

Any ideas why it also sticks about 1.5" before the end of travel ?

I have a similar problem with mine.... when on tick over (neutral/clutch engaged) if i giv it a little rev then i get the clunk...i think i may need to upgrade my engine mounts? dogbone mount??

Any ideas??

check the bolts on the dbmount into the subframe, if one is loose, snapped then it will clunk as you change gear....
