LCR steering wheel

Just curiousity as it was brought up in a readers ride thread what does your LCR 225 steering wheel look like, mine has an indentation at the 2 and 10 position for thumb grips but apparently others ave just a round rim

My early model (2003)LCR 210 was just the leather round wheel with red stitching, My LCR225 has the thumb grips.

I would have said the LCR 210 has a 210 steering wheel(no grips) and the LCR 225 has a 225 steering wheel(with grips.)

there the only 2 i am aware of.

Yes it did. But I think what Willie is saying is that it didn't have the thumb grips.

personally, unless i can see a pic of one that looks different i will be of the opinion that willie has got it wrong. (sorry willie)
In fact, willie seems to have linked to a thread that apparently shows a 225 wheel without thumb grips, when it is actually a 210 wheel.

im sure there is some people out there thinking they have 225 leons when they are 210s.

So there you have it, Willie was looking at a 210 wheel (although with an 'R' badge stuck on it), and mistook it for a 225 wheel.

No appologies needed Willie as i said just curious and looks like the LHD's get all sorts of wheel with 4M on them for the 4-mos and different R wheels. I really hadnt looked into the wheels before so without asking we would never know. What does the 210 LCR wheel look like any way?

Or in other words, the same as the normal cupra steering wheel, except that the stitching is red.
