maybe you could use that stuff to wrap around the LCR splitter?? might look good?

Think id have to get the proper skinning kit to do that, gonna order one soon to do the side pillars, then the wing mirror caps, then will have to see about the splitter, reckon itd look good, class idea!

wanna trade White for Flash Red? I WANT, I WANT! :p

If its a cupra with money ontop :p

does look awesome on a white car, nice job!! what about adding it to the vent and gear lever surrounds??

good thinking! Ive got a little bit left over, was thinking of trying them two gear surround bits!

Might go do it now!

think it would look class on a black one, would say if you lived near me could try it on. Should have some more carbon goodies soon i hope. Though perhaps not really, will have to see how good the stuff is!

I live in Whitby mate so not really far but bit of a trek-you'll have to let me know if the stuff behaves or if it starts peeling. I need a new front grill bit cos mine has a crack in it so part of it's about to snap off.

By the way your car looks ace, wish I had some dosh to spare on mine but trying to save up for moving out-and it ain't cheap where I live:cry:

I've got a nice badgless one for sale that i had on for a week whilst i did the carbon one :p

got it from davif penmans in darlo, was on the forecourt for about a month i think. Went to view it and couldnt help but buy it!

Found out if your car is fixed yet and what the problem was matey?

ah ....we test drove that car but they offered us rubbish for our Audi!
Car was a bit pricey at £10k

we ended up with Red 07 plate with 4000 miles paid less than £9k and a private sale for Audi

Apprently the ARB is catching the track rods - theres a mark on them and can only be
recognised if weight is on the car while car was up on hydraulic lift.

i hope this is it ! getting on my t1ts

yeh it was up for 10,400, got it for allot less than that paying cash in hand :) + it was in candy white, had colour coded side strips and black wingmirror caps. Ended up having a customcode stage 1 map on it too, so theres 600 quid saved for what id have had done anyway. Was a black on in harrogate on 08 plate with 1000 less miles for cheaper than i paid but fell in love with the white!

Got a bargain on your red one by the sounds of things, still a new car with 4k on, mine still felt new with 9.5!

the map wasnt switched on when it was on the forecourt, the previous owner got in touch on here and told me how to turn it on with vag-com, i was over the moon! Yeh the brakes were horrendous for about 2 weeks with it been sat on the forecourt for a month, was moss on the front window felt too :( brakes work class now, had a look at them and the pads have ferodo on the back, so i assume previous owner upgraded the pads too! 312mm tt ones will be going on when it comes to changing them, or if i get into abit of money i may go for the ecs porsche upgrade but very much doubt it :(

which salesman did you have? I had a bloke called brian who was scotish? Ive heard penmans, where i got it from, turn into w*nkers when it comes to warrenty work etc so just hoping nothing goes wrong!

and cheers :)

The car felt very eager when we drove it. It did have a badgless grille which looked w@nk
but that was removed.

salesman was a young man .......John - paul i think

they are now Renault garage. You don't need to take it there for warranty work.

yeh it was, liked the test drive, my dad liked it better than his astra sri150 aswell! Was against a diesel at first but they are fun cars for diesels.

yeh ive got it booked in elsewhere, friend of a friend owns a v.a.g specialist garage so got it in there for its second service at mates rates which i was happy about! Heard seat charge up to 280 quid for second service :|

there was a young salesman lad that showed me to the car when i went to pick it up, said he was going to buy it if it was there another week, maybe the same lad. and yep i was going to request it had a proper grill on it but it did by the time i test drove it, bought a badgeless grill however for when i was doing the carbon one and i didnt like the look very much i must say.
