I went from a 8v gti to a 16v gti and now am back to the 8v gti.......love them !

Having owned both i'm gonna go 8v.

16v's temperamental and harder to drive if your not in the mood plus they seem to break more.

I'm on my second 8v

in my opinion i would say 8v.

Dont get my wrong i loved my 16v more than anything but they do seem to brake a bit easily...everyone loves a fast car though.

enjoying being back in the 8v on a daily basis.

this clios only done 58k and is absolutely spotless all round especially the 1171cc engine. only 400 quid. should last till my next car in march. its slower from 0-40 than the 1.4 8v ibiza but faster from 50 to top speed than the ibiza.

ha ha well that mite be that case but im safe for at least 2 years till you get the revelvant insurance or do the conversion
