Hi, this question has probably been asked loads but have done searches and can't find anything! Hope you guys can help! Whats the differences between the Leon Cupra and Leon Sport??

Leon Sport: ko3 turbo, APP engine code, no trip computer, slightly cheaper engine size based road tax.

Leon Cupra: ko3s turbo, AUQ engine code, slightly more power on stock turbo from a remap

There are also a few cosmetic bits that seemed to appear then disappear and appear again. Pot luck on spec on the sport/cupra badge change.

Not strictly true on the engine code, mines an 01 X-plate and listed as a Sport on the logbook but has an AUQ engine, however the rear has Cupra badge etc.
It's a bit of a lottery on what you get with the early ones really.

My 2000 model had loads of extra expect trip computer. also had folding mirrors (useful feature).
