Where have you mounted you HID ballasts?

I will probably be getting a set soon and wondered where you have put your ballasts?

one is right down in the wing under the washer fluid reservoir and the other is in the black plastic tray that sits behind the passenger side headlamp.

got one cable tied on windscreen wash bottle, other stuck on the side of the air box.

Yes i do, going to earth the ballasts to see if that cures it.

The wiring is un zipptied atm but is tidyer when its secured.

Just tried earthing the ballasts, makes no difference.

got mine cable tied directly behind the headlights, nice and easy.

I would say its better to put them on back of the lights or in engine bay rather than under the light itself?

Saves removing the bumper and light if a ballast packed up.

OEM lights are usually on the base, remvoing the bumper doesnt really bother me to be honest, i prefer a neat, tidy install than wires everywhere.
