Yeah it's about maxd out but that's on full boost on me boost controller I dnt all ways full boost only wen needed lol but it's all gd fun

hey guys alot of technical jargon goin on here :d
im currently weighing up buying a mk3 ibiza cupra with the intention of putting a ihi on it... i have spoken to one of the guys at jbs and he recommends there kit which wil take it to 330bhp
my question is how hard it it to fit the hardware myself.... im not a newbie with a spanner and my old fella has a few friends who are very handy but not with turbos :/
also i have a choice of buying a 2001 audi s3 or a ihi'd cupra what would u guys choose?

Im using a tig-art one which is prober easy to fit no wobbley spanners needed...as for the downpipe jabbasport and jbs sell the collector of the flange take that to a exhaust company and they can make the rest for you..
i have ihi inlet and outlet flanges in stock - £15 each plus vat

Yup...I thought there was room but redoing the downpipe backup and fitting the coolant and oil lines theres no room specially to get ur fingers up and then get a spanner..
Took me 2hrs the other night just to tighten the bottom nut near the actuator arm slight turn at a time...
Bit of advice really would be to dress the turbo up 1st...but 4 u bolt in to the head...
Just read this thread through and ive been thinking of going down the ihi/gt28 route but undecided which way to go, jbs do both kits and backdraft do a gt28 conversion on the mk3. Looking on the jbs website price wise its almost the same if you just purchase the kits, but im thinking they would need the car to make up and fit the D/P. I was thinking of buying the kit and getting it fitted and mapped closer to home.
looks a very nice setup looks tight though to aircon pipes! who does the top mount manis then had a look at jbs manis they look good for bottom mount!!
how much? not into spending mega bucks though, hopefully his prices have gone down from over a grand since 2006 lol!!!

IHI one made by Primary Designs for me is still that price, but made by a company who make Red Bull Racing exhaust headers, so the quality is unrivalled... but at a price
If you are on a budget you will need to look elsewhere. Quality like PD's costs & you do get what you pay for.
