Wheel Nut Bolts Lugs or whatever you like to call them...

Having a bit of trouble with my wheel lugs/bolts/nuts or whatever they are called.
The coating is coming off and they are rusting.

I have a set of Team Dynamics pro race on (<----see my pic)

I'd like a set of red or black ones to replace them (all 20). Anyone know where I can get these and the correct term for them? I'd call them bolts...cause they bolt your wheel in place. But it doesn't bring up hardly any google results!!!!???

have you already tried using the plastic covers you can get to cover the bolts?

Try Wheel STUDS

Bolts screw into Nuts (not threaded holes)

Nuts screw onto a Bolt or Stud

These ares are more Studs (or possibly Studbolts) in Engineering terms

I would describe the wheel fixings on a seat as bolts personally.

Technically a stud does not have to have a thread

bear in mine TD pro race 1.2 need tapered bolts. Not sure what the standards wheels on your car are?

Yeah I wanted the 'lug covers' because they are the hex shaped ones. However one 'bolt' on each wheel is one of those fancy spinning anti theft ma bobbys so the typical covers (I assume) wouldn't fit these.

Basically the majority of the bolt heads look fine (not really a rust more of an oxidation) its just they are like a polished alloy and my wheels are matt black and red. So I'd like something that blended in a bit better. It's basically a cosmetic mod.

Who reckons I get the lug covers/ caps then just try rubber mallet those round pegs into a hexagonal hole?
