Put Proxes 4 all round on mine, really impressed with them.

ok is it 205 - 40 - 16 or 205 - 45 - 16 on a fr petrol?

just check your side wall on the tyres, 40 or 45 profile should be fine which ever you choose

4 Toyo T1R's on the way, thanks for the recommendations folks. Had a good look at a lot of reviews and these seemed to come out on top for price and grip in both wet and dry conditions.

on a side note anyone know the standard bolt spec on a petrol fr, done and search and came up short?

Ive got T1r's on at the moment. Grip in a straight line is good (not excelent) and round corners is OK. In the wet they arnt that great, but still more than safe. I find the sidewall WAY too soft and that affects the handling in a bad way. For the price they are a good tyre, but next time I will try somthing else. Wear seems to be OK aswell.

I initially picked up 2 x T1R's for the front and agree about the sidewalls being soft....it looked like the fronts were low on pressure!

When the backs needed replacing I went for the extra load (XL) ones then swapped the wheels round so these were on the front and cornering is much improved now
