cupra bumper questionj

i have an 07 plate cupra and i have a query about the bumper, my bumper is colour coded all the way across the bottom yet nearly all the cupras i see on here have a black spoiler or trim underneath the number plate. is this bit just painted black or do i have a spoiler missing, i do think i looks better with the black trim/spoiler under the number plate so any help will be appreciated

yours should be painted black at the bottom aswell.

Unless it's a Cupra K1 (or a lookie-likey) with the aero kit, which doesn't keep the black diffuser bit...?

Or perhaps someone has done the right thing and taken off the Aero Bumpers and put on an FR bumper (which is all but the same as the Cupra bumper anyway) although if its an 07 Cupra, it will have needed holes cut in to the bumper for the water jets for the Xenons. Either that or the previous owner painted the black bar red for stealth purposes (make it look like the slower FR )

Might have been in an accident and required a new bumper also, who nows could be a number of things

Are you sure? I seem to remember David @ Seres saying it was the same part but sprayed differently?
