Lcr decat = pop and bang?

it needs to be overfuelling to pop and bang (unburned fuel going into the exhaust system).

Some mappers can write this into a remap but has adverse effects of course such as bad MPG and hesitation/jerking when pulling away.

Some cars are naturally good at pops and bangs with no overfuelling, MK3 Ibiza Cupra for example. I am not sure why this is, perhaps because the K03 exhaust manifold flows better or maybe the shorter length of the exhaust.

My lcr has a decat,with a piper system.It pops on the overrun,and if i catch it right and get the tc to cut in,between first and second gear,it bangs like anti-lag on a rally car!! Its got a stage 2 map on it,so i guess that helps....

does anyone know if the sound is any louder after a decat? im goin to be getting a revo stage 1 soon aswell could this help with getting it to pop and bang?thanks

A 2.5" decat and a :gay::gay: Powerflow cat back

Not my choice but was cheap at the time and I needed an exhaust.

If you want loud then remove the silencers.

I'd imagin a de cat might make it a bit louder.

yeah its getting the centre silencer removed aswell so should be slightly louder but not too loud i hope
