This is clearly down to personal taste but I think it would look even better with the skirts around the other way purely because of how much they seem to have raised the standard front bumper.
I understand someone not liking the back bumper but I've grown to appreciate the front aero kit (especially the new version without the side vanes or whatever they're called)
It still looks decent like you have it tho!

I'm thinking along the same lines as Steve. I do like the K1 look and adding the front was an option but thats even more expense. So, for the moment I'll just keep it simple and remove them.

It looks a bit wrong with the front aero kit on and the sideskirts backwards as seen in the silver car on that first pic.
The second pic shows why they shouldnt have changed the front bumper if you want normal facing sideskirts.
I'm sure it would look quite good with the standard facelift front bumper and the sideskirts on backwards but i've only seen it done on one FR pre facelift to have that opinion. But if it works on that it should improve it even more with the now slightly raised front bumper of the FL model.
Maybe you would be better just taking them off? I dont know now!
I would really like to see a picture of a facelift standard kit FR with sideskirts on backwards & a spoiler to know for sure.
It's definately a look that i'm interested in once the other bits have been painted black like on the standard FL Cupra...

Finally got round to taking some shots of my cupra with the skirts removed. Really happy with the results. The right decision I think...looks sleeker IMO.

Totally agree that it looks better/sleeker now Froggy. This is the best proof i've seen yet that the side skirts no longer work with the existing FL front bumper. If i was ditching the idea of side skirts i'd be ditching the the front aero kit as well n vice versa.
I really liked/wanted the side skirts & decided to go with the front aero kit as the lines flow so much more naturally together. If they hadn't subtley changed the new aero kit (ie the ridged vanes or hoizontal black lines at the sides that i didn't like) I probably would have went with your look & had the centre bit painted black on the FR to look as agressive as the cupra's.
That's how close I came to going the other (your) way.
I spent even longer thinking about this than I did over ditching the DSG idea for manual!
You're car looks the business & yellow is the other colour I came close to going for over white so excellent choice all round chief IMO
