difference between fr and formula sport??

may be a silly question but im wondering what the difference is between the fr model and the formula sport??

FR's have a different front and rear bumper, different mirror covers, 17" alloys, the interior pieces too such as the FR badge on the steering wheel, gear knob, dials and seat backs.

Theres probably more, but I cant think of them

The Main differences are!

Formula sport comes with 1.4 16v 100bhp Engine

FR Comes with Either 1.8 20v 150bhp or 1.9TDI 130bhp engine


everything else is cosmetic

FR ,Cupra,Cupra R and Bocanegra are the higher models from SEAT

jus checked and ye got the same bumpers lks gd, tho i am thinking about a splitter for the front bumper

Yep just requires some cutting

yeah bit of modding..and it fits fine. Have to trim the edges

with a bit of cutting and screwing yes check out my ibizas readers ride thread for piccys as i have the same bumper (but mines an FR not a looky likey )

loads of ibiza mk4 have them on, very easy to fit, if a bit daunting at first. There is a fitting guide on here somewhere.

thanks, looks good will have to look into doing that, think before that tho im planning on having windows tinted

The exhaust was a trim that I bought from Powerflow, I made it fit. A little bit of cutting.
A slightly better picture:

How ever since my sig picture I have removed it as it looked a little odd with the tow bar bracked showing. It now looks like a 1.2 rear end.

The trim was around £20/30 if I remember correctly.
