looking at rash's post he has ET30's to cover teh cupra caliper but then some said he has had to do some Arch work and i dunno what that means lol

i just had a read through your thread, i like what you have done.
was it easy to fit the rear strut brace? did you notice any difference in handling?
after you had fitted your brake pads and discs was there a big difference in stopping power? am ordering ds2500 pads and tarox discs this week.

Was the reg A006- --c , The cars had a remap i take it ? also still has the spax suspension is this adjustable i.e can you adjust the ride height & hardness ? Any other things that have been done to the car ?? has id had a clutch? Any info would be much appreciated m8 thanks....

yea sounds like mine

Spax coilovers height and dampner adjustable.
you should have the key in the ashtray for the front suspension dampner. the rear are part of the shock. little black nob on the back if you get under the car.

also has the whiteline rear ARB.

Ferrodo DS2500 brake pads and disc. they were only changed a couple of thousand miles ago.

car has a mild remap about 190 bhp as i hate smokie cars.

also has a Pipercross panel filter so just need cleaning.

the airfilter inlet has been modded to allow more airflow (as mentioned on this forum as a recommended mod)

Still on standard clutch but as the map wasnt a mightie one the clutch change wasnt needed.

Did they fix the scratch on the driver door??? and the scuffed wheels??? (should never of let the misses drive it lol although the drivers front wheel was my fault)

honeslty i cant fault that car. a lot of genuine motorway miles. i use to do 88 miles round trip to work. shame that when i got a job closer to home it was economical enough.

how much did you buy it for? was it at dealer or auction?

Theyve touched the scratch in but its still noticeable im having the hole car mopped today to remove any small scrathes etc & also the wheels refubed plus new mot & oil & filter service all at the garages cost, picking it up 2nite quite looking forward to it !! I test drove it last sunday an was very impressed with the performance im paying £7000... what did you let it go for?

hmm that a few miles away. to send this suspension is gonna cost a bomb.

took the engine cover off as i had the Momo seat sport strut brace and the Forge front strut brace. these both use to hit the engine cover

incidently i have the forge front sturt still for sale also.

have been offered £35 plus postage for the enginer cover already.

im not sure if £15 will cover the postage. but ill weigh it tonight and get a price from post office tomorrow.

OK is it in gd nick ? (cover) Postage shouldnt be any more than £15 but do check normaly will go under standard parcels via parcel force the weight limit is 25kg normaly ..
Is the car happy to run on standard diesel with the map ? i dont have to put the performance stuff in now do i ?
Were there any mechanical faults with the car when u sold it? I take it the suspensions pretty much set at its lowest setting at the min?

Hi m8 , picking up the cupra today so you possibly wont have seen it around ? its a Black 1 06 reg. Im nr bedgrove you? May well be for sale m8 going 2 have a go at softning
up the current set up an see how it goes then if im still not keen will put the stock stuff back on & advertise the coilovers...
